The NUMA 1m Slatted Side Screen: Modular Privacy and Architectural Detail Take your pergola design to the next level with our premium Slatted Side Screens. Unlike temporary screens, these fixed-slat panels provide a permanent architectural feature that balances privacy with airflow. Whether you want to create a full shutter wall or just a single corner for extra shade, these modular screens give you the freedom to customize your sanctuary as you see fit.
Aluminium Durability and Finish To ensure a perfect, seamless match with your pergola frame, these screens are crafted from high-grade aluminium. This provides a durable, rust-resistant structure built to withstand the elements. Each screen undergoes the same intensive multi-stage treatment and 50-60µm powder coating as our pergolas, ensuring a perfect color match in line with our cohesive design philosophy.
Modular and Versatile The beauty of the 1m screen is its flexibility. These screens can be added to any side of either our Manual or Electric pergolas, allowing you to build the exact level of enclosure you require.
-
Custom Configurations: Use a single 1m screen for a modern accent, or combine multiple panels to create a continuous wall of privacy.
-
Flexible Placement: Add as many as you like to any side of the structure to suit your garden's orientation and wind direction.
-
Fixed Performance: The slats are set at a fixed angle to optimize privacy and light. Because the slats are not adjustable, there are no moving parts, ensuring a maintenance-free addition to your pergola.
Seamless Compatibility These screens are designed to integrate perfectly with our 1.5mm aluminium frames. Because they are fixed and modular, they can be added retrospectively to your structure whenever you decide you need a little more seclusion.
-
Material: High-grade, powder-coated aluminium.
-
Finish: RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey to match your NUMA furniture exactly.
-
Compatibility: Fits all NUMA Manual and Electric Pergolas.
-
Modular Design: 1 metre width per panel for flexible, customized placement.

Pergolas
The primary difference is the operation and the lighting. The Electric series features a motorized louvered roof and integrated LED strip lighting, whereas the Manual series uses a smooth manual wind system and has no internal lighting. Both models feature the same high-grade 1.5mm aluminium frame.
Operation depends on the model you choose. On our Electric series, the blinds are fully motorized and remote-controlled. On our Manual series, the blinds are operated manually.
No. Our side blinds are engineered to integrate specifically with their corresponding systems. The Electric Pergola series is designed exclusively for use with our motorized, remote-controlled blinds to ensure seamless operation and connectivity. If you require side blinds for your Electric Pergola, you should select the Electric Side Blind models.
Yes. In line with our cohesive design philosophy, all our pergolas and side screens are finished in UV-protected Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016). This ensures a perfect color match with our furniture collections for a unified architectural look.
No. The 1m Slatted Aluminium Screens feature fixed slats designed to provide permanent privacy and airflow. They are made of high-grade powder-coated aluminium and can be used on any side of both manual and electric models.
Pergola Installation
Once you place your order, we will contact you with an installation questionnaire. Typically, our expert crew will arrive to install your pergola 14 to 21 days after you have completed and returned that questionnaire to us.
Power must be prepared before our team arrives. There is a 1.5m power cable that exits at the foot of the pergola post. We recommend having a certified electrician install a power feed within reach of this point so our team can test the roof, lighting, and any electric blinds on the day.
Our technicians will call you 30 minutes before they arrive and will proceed with the installation come rain or shine. Once the build is complete, the team will remove all packaging, provide a full demonstration of the features, and complete a final sign-off with you.
Yes. If you choose to install the structure yourself rather than using our White Glove service, we recommend a 2-man crew for 3x3m models and a 3-man crew for 3x4m models to safely handle the 1.5mm heavy-gauge aluminium posts.
Full technical drawings, including base dimensions and exact cable exit points for our electric models, can be found in the Dimensions Tab on each product page.
