Yes It couldnt be any easier!
When you're ready to ignite your outdoor experience - Follow these simple steps to connect your NUMA gas firepit and enjoy cozy evenings under the stars.
1. Get Connected:
- Our firepits come with a gas hose and regulator already connected. This regulator is designed for "Patio Gas" bottles (typically green with a 27mm clip-on connection). It won't connect to propane or butane bottles.
- Make sure the regulator's open/close valve is in the closed position (3 o'clock).
- Push the regulator onto the gas bottle connector until you hear a click.
2. Power Up:
- Locate the igniter button on the control panel.
- Unscrew the black rubber button (turn anti-clockwise) and insert 1 x AAA battery (negative end first). Don't lose the spring!
- Screw the button back on (clockwise).
- Test the igniter by pressing and holding the button. You should hear a continuous ticking. If not, double-check the battery and spring.
3. Connect the Spark:
- Find the black cable connected to the bottom of the firepit.
- Connect it to the exposed metal pin on the back of the igniter button. This ensures the spark reaches the pilot.
4. Uncoil and Flow:
- Under the firepit, you'll see a bronze-colored copper pipe. This is the gas supply pipe.
- Uncoil it if needed to ensure a smooth gas flow.
5. Keep it Clear:
- The crushed glass in the firepit tray adds a beautiful sparkle. Make sure it covers the tube but leaves the pilot cover (the small metal cube with holes) clear. This is where the magic happens!

Remember to turn the open/close valve on the regulator to the 12 o'clock position when you want to use the firepit. Keep it closed when not in use.

Our gas firepit systems are designed to connect specifically to FLOGAS Patio Gas bottles, which are widely available from most portable gas bottle suppliers. For our small coffee firepits, a 6kg FLOGAS Patio Gas bottle is suitable, while our larger firepits require a 10kg FLOGAS Patio Gas bottle. These bottles typically feature a 27mm clip-on connection.
Dont forget you will also need a standard AAA battery for the ignition module of the fire-pit.
